Vanessa Leal Custódio joined the Azevedo Legal team in early 2020 (just before the world turned upside down).
She has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2017, but her professional background spans many years in a variety of different areas. Vanessa has focused specifically on Civil Law, Bankruptcy law and associated litigation (executive actions and insolvencies), and she has experience working with several banking entities. Her professional path also afforded her the opportunity to work abroad for some time on an international Land Management project.
At Azevedo & Ascenso, the core of her work is Migration Law and Soft Landing. Vanessas’ academic background includes a post-graduate course on Public Economic Law. Vanessa is proud of her military school background, which endowed her with a deep sense of mission, discipline, community, and connection to one another, values that she uses in her professional and personal life. Apart from being a full-time Lawyer, Vanessa loves coffee and riding her Vespa.
